FOR MANUFACTURERS & SUPPLIERS
You make something well. I try to find where it is genuinely needed.
Tell me what your factory can actually produce. I research commercial needs and explore introductions when there is a reason for both sides to talk.
Tell me what you manufactureHow I look for a fit
Before approaching a manufacturer about a specific buyer, I try to understand:
- The buyer’s actual requirement
- Likely order volumes and specification
- Geography and delivery needs
- Why your business appears to fit
- What still needs checking with you
Before sharing a valuable buyer’s identity, I would normally discuss a written account-registration and introduction arrangement. It lets us check whether the account is already active with you and agree what an introduction covers. Sending this form creates no appointment or fee obligation.
For overseas producers, see finding UK customers. The sourcing areas under review are research examples, not confirmed buyer mandates. The guide to commercial roles explains where an introducer fits.
You remain responsible for products, technical advice, certification, quotations, production, quality, logistics, contracts and warranties. Acorn researches and introduces.
